Monocular and Dichoptic Plaids:

These files simulate the dichoptic plaid experiment of Tailby et al. (2010).

• plaid_120_monoc, produces tuning curves for monocular gratings and plaids, for computing the monocular pattern index.
• plaid_120_dichop, produces tuning curves for dichoptic plaids, for computing the dichoptic pattern index.

Frontoparallel and 3D Motion Tuning Protocol:

This protocol generates the binocular grating protocol of Czuba et al. (2014) testing tuning for frontoparallel and 3D motion.

• sine_dir_czuba, the binocular motion protocol of Czuba et al.

3D Motion Biased Tuning:

This protocol simulates 3D motion in oblique directions by varying both interocular direction and speed, used by Czuba et al. to test for 3D motion biased tuning in MT cells.

Plaid Matrix:

A stimulus protocol for generating plaids at all motion direction combinations in steps of 30 deg, as used by Rust et al. (2006).
