GaborSimp   This model of an orientation-tuned V1 simple cell consists of a linear Gabor filter in space that is multiplied by a biphasic filter in time. The output of the space-time separable linear filter is used to drive a Poisson spike generator. This is a minimal model for an orientation and temporal frequency tuned, spiking simple cell.
